Job DescriptionPosition Title: Electrical TechnicianDivision: MaintenanceCategory: Skilled WorkerLocation: Eastern Province, Saudi ArabiaSalary: SAR 2,500 - 3,500 + FATJob SummaryThe Electrical Technician will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of LV and MV electrical systems up to 4.6 kV used in casting and forging plant operations. The role requires hands‑on experience with heavy industrial electrical equipment, adherence to safety standards, and the ability to support continuous plant operations.Key ResponsibilitiesElectrical Maintenance & TroubleshootingInstall, maintain, and troubleshoot LV/MV electrical systems up to 4.6 kVCarry out maintenance on power transformers, HT/LT switchgear panels, MCCs, and distribution boardsDiagnose and rectify faults in electrical circuits, panels, and power systemsPerform preventive and breakdown maintenance to ensure uninterrupted plant operationsMotors, Drives & FurnacesMaintain electric motors (induction and servo motors)Troubleshoot and maintain VFDs and motor control systemsMaintain induction furnace power supply systems and heating furnace electrical systemsMonitor electrical parameters to ensure safe and efficient operationControl SystemsAssist in maintenance and troubleshooting of PLC systems and control panelsPerform checks on control wiring, interlocks, sensors, and relaysCoordinate with instrumentation and automation teams when requiredPower Distribution & CablingInstall and maintain cable trays, power cables, and control cablesEnsure proper termination, labeling, and routing of electrical cablesMaintain earthing and lightning protection systems as per safety standardsEmergency Power SystemsMaintain DG sets, UPS systems, and battery banksPerform routine checks, load tests, and battery maintenanceEnsure emergency power availability during outagesSafety & ComplianceFollow all electrical safety procedures, lockout/tagout practices, and HSE guidelinesUse aRequirementsExperience RequirementMinimum 5+ years of hands‑on experience in industrial electrical maintenanceProven experience working in casting and forging plants or heavy industrial environmentsExperience handling LV/MV systems up to 4.6 kV is mandatorySkills & CompetenciesStrong knowledge of industrial electrical systems and troubleshootingAbility to read electrical drawings and schematicsGood understanding of motors, drives, furnaces, and power distribution systemsStrong safety awareness and disciplineAbility to work independently and as part of a maintenance teamWork Environment & ConditionsPlant‑based role in casting and forging facilitiesExposure to heat, dust, noise, and heavy machineryShift‑based work with overtime applicable as per operational needs#J-18808-Ljbffr
