Electrical Technician

Job PurposeThe Electrical Technician is responsible for the installation, operation, maintenance, and repair of all electrical systems within Salayel Hospitality properties, ensuring guest safety, comfort, and uninterrupted operations in line with hospitality standards.Key ResponsibilitiesCarry out preventive and corrective maintenance of electrical systems including lighting, power distribution, sockets, switches, panels, and control systemsMaintain LV systems, DBs, MCCs, emergency lighting, and UPS where applicableTroubleshoot electrical faults and respond promptly to breakdowns and guest requestsConduct routine inspections in guest rooms, public areas, BOH, and plant roomsEnsure all electrical works comply with UAE electrical codes and safety regulationsSupport testing and maintenance of fire alarm and life safety systems (as required)Coordinate with supervisors and external contractors when necessaryMaintain maintenance logs, checklists, and work ordersFollow hotel SOPs, safety procedures, and brand standards at all timesRespond to emergency call‑outs and shift duties as requiredQualifications & ExperienceITI / Diploma in Electrical Engineering or equivalent2–5 years’ experience as an Electrical Technician, preferably in hotels or serviced apartmentsStrong hands‑on knowledge of LV electrical systemsBasic understanding of fire alarm systems and emergency power systemsFamiliar with UAE safety standards and regulationsAbility to work shifts, weekends, and on‑call dutyBasic communication skills in English (Arabic is an advantage)Skills & CompetenciesElectrical troubleshooting and fault‑findingPreventive maintenance knowledgeSafety awareness and complianceTime management and reliabilityTeamwork and service mindsetAbility to work under pressure in a guest‑focused environment#J-18808-Ljbffr
