Eaton has approximately 96,000 employees and sells products to customers in more than 175 countries.What You’ll DoThis incumbent of this position is responsible for mechanical design, assembly and smooth operation of automated machines.Electrical and Mechatronic maintenance, assembly and wiring of machines and componentsUnderstanding of electrical circuit diagramsMaintenance work on mechanical and electronic systems, including inspections, cleanings and lubricationCheck of machine safety components and systemsOptimization of automation solutions for production machines using PLC controllers, robotics, industrial image processing, drive technology, testing technology, safety technology and other automation technologiesProgramming and commissioning of PLC controllers, safety controllers and Human Machine Interface (HMI) systemsIntegration of robotic systems and other automated components into existing production processesFunctional tests and performance tests on automation systems, troubleshooting and optimization of control programsPreparation of technical documentation, operating instructions and training materialCollaboration with business partner (tool maker, Engineers and external partners)Support in training of employeesUse of Industry 4.0 technologies (e.g., 3D printing, AMR)QualificationsBachelor's Degree in preferably electrical engineering, automation engineering, mechatronics or a similar qualificationMin 3 years of experience in industrial automationKnowledge of Cam‑controlled machines like: Bihler (preferred), Wafios, FinzerHigh‑speed automatic assembly lines like: Stiwa, PIA, Festo, Omron, B&R, DA AutomationSkillsArburg or Engel machine for 1 and 2 component tools and molding infrastructure e.g. centry drying system (Wittmann), machine and tool coolingExperienced in CAD, SPS, HMI‑Systems, circuit diagram understanding for electric, pneumatic and hydraulic; advantageous: programming skillsQuick comprehension, independent working style, ability to work in teams, strong communication skills, continuous learning, willingness to work shiftsWhat We OfferCompetitive compensation and benefits packageChallenging projects in dynamic collaborative teamWe make your aspirations matter – Eaton encourages internal promotion, whenever possibleWe make your growth matter – We invest in our employees for the long term – not just with salary and benefits, but with ongoing learning and development opportunities made available through Eaton UniversityWe make your contributions matter - reliability, safety, efficiency, and sustainability are at the core of our dedication to improving people’s lives and the environment through power management technologies.We make your wellbeing matter – We put your health and safety first.
