We are reaching out to inform you about an immediate opening for the position of E&I Engineer (Electrical & Instrumentation Engineer) with a well-established organization. This role is ideal for professionals who have expertise in electrical systems and instrumentation, and enjoy working on installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and ensuring smooth operation of plant equipment and control systems. Responsibilities: Responsible for installation, positioning, and commissioning of various instrumentation & electrical control panels at site. This includes proper mounting, alignment, fixing, and ensuring panels are connected according to drawings and safety standards. They will act as a liaison between the head office, field teams, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure timely and efficient project delivery. The role involves coordination, documentation, and reporting to maintain alignment with project goals, budgets, and schedules. Panel Erection Responsible for installation, positioning, and commissioning of various electrical control panels at site. This includes proper mounting, alignment, fixing, and ensuring panels are connected according to electrical drawings and safety standards. Installation of Electrical & Instrumentation Panels Installation and erection of different types of electrical panels such as: UPS Panels Installation and connection of Uninterruptible Power Supply systems for backup power. VFD Panels (Variable Frequency Drive) Setup and wiring for motor speed control applications. LDB (Lighting Distribution Board) Installation for distributing electrical power to lighting circuits. MCC (Motor Control Center) Panels Erection and connection for controlling and protecting multiple motors. AXA Panels Installation as per project electrical control requirements. Main MCC Panels Central control panels for motor operations in industrial systems. Long Travel VDB (Variable Drive Board) Installation and configuration used in equipment such as cranes or heavy machinery. PLC Panels (Programmable Logic Controller) Installation and wiring for automated control systems. Ensuring all panels are connected according to electrical schematics, cable schedules, and safety guidelines . Transformer Erection Responsible for installation and erection of electrical transformers, including: Proper placement and alignment Connection of HT/LT cables Earthing and safety grounding Pre-commissioning checks Cable Tray Installation Installation and fixing of different types of cable trays used for cable management, including: Ladder Type Cable Tray Perforated Type Cable Tray Ensuring proper routing, support structure installation, alignment, and secure fixing for safe cable management. Cable Laying and Termination Execution of cable laying work from panels to motors, transformers, and equipment. Responsibilities include: Cable pulling and routing Cable glanding and termination Ferruling and labeling Testing for proper connectivity Motor Starting and Commissioning Perform motor installation and starting procedures, including: Checking motor wiring connections Insulation resistance testing Phase sequence verification No-load and load trials Coordination with control panels and drives Electrical Instrumentation Work Installation and maintenance of electrical instruments and field devices such as: Industrial lighting systems Electrical measuring instruments Control and monitoring devices Basic instrumentation connections Ensuring proper functioning and safe operation of all installed electrical equipment.
