In this role, you will be responsible for conducting comprehensive inspections of streetlighting infrastructure, ensuring compliance with electrical standards, and maintaining the safety and functionality of lighting systems across our road networks.Conduct regular and systematic inspections of streetlighting systems, fixtures, and electrical components along road networksTest and evaluate electrical equipment using specialized testing instruments to ensure proper functionality and safety complianceDocument inspection findings, defects, and maintenance requirements in detailed reports using established protocolsIdentify electrical hazards, safety violations, and non-compliance issues and recommend corrective actionsVerify that all streetlighting installations meet applicable electrical codes, standards, and regulatory requirementsCoordinate with maintenance teams to ensure timely remediation of identified issues and defectsMaintain organized records of inspection schedules, results, and follow-up actionsPerform quality assurance checks on newly installed or repaired streetlighting systemsInvestigate reported lighting failures and malfunctions to determine root causesEnsure all inspection activities comply with health, safety, and environmental regulationsRequired QualificationsProven experience as an electrical inspector or in a similar electrical inspection roleDemonstrated expertise in streetlighting systems and road lighting infrastructureStrong knowledge of electrical codes, standards, and safety regulations applicable to streetlightingProficiency in using electrical testing equipment and diagnostic tools (multimeters, insulation testers, etc.)Preferred QualificationsCertification in electrical inspection or related electrical fieldExperience with streetlighting maintenance and repair operationsFamiliarity with municipal or government infrastructure standardsExperience with computerized inspection and reporting systemsKnowledge of local Qatar electrical regulations and standards
