Electrical HVAC Chiller TechnicianAbout the job: Electrical / HVAC TechnicianResponsibilitiesAssemble, install, test, and maintain electrical or electronic wiring, equipment, circuit breakers, transformers, control panels or other components appliances, apparatus, and fixtures.Diagnose malfunctioning systems, apparatus, and components to locate the cause of a breakdown and correct the problem.Install, maintain and repair heating, ventilating and air conditioning and chilled water distribution equipment and systems.Carry out duties as per standards and guidance of site incharge/senior technician and report abnormal situations in a timely manner.Team work and efficient job performance towards customer satisfaction.Be available on call to work nights or weekends, rotating basis, to service emergency needs of our customers.Maintain and troubleshoot different electronic and electrical control units related to air conditioning and refrigeration including Chillers and Cold Store.Install and modify electrical/electronic instruments and control systems as required.Be responsible for the safe custody & maintenance of equipment, tools, spare parts and materials in personal custody provided by the Company for work purposes and return old spare parts to the foreman.Notice problems and develop options for potential solutions and assist team members/Technicians beyond the regular position requirement.Ability to read blueprint, piping and electrical drawings.Follow proper work order and required procedures before any maintenance.Regularly check liquid (refrigerant) level.Regularly check oil level, pressure, temperature and operation of the oil heater.Regularly check for oil or refrigerant leaks.Grease motor bearings or replace oil, as applicable.Skills & ExpectationsProficiency in electrical and HVAC system installation, maintenance, and repair.Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic abilities.Knowledge of blueprint, piping and electrical drawings interpretation.Team-oriented with a focus on customer satisfaction.Availability for on-call work nights or weekends as required.Attention to safety and proper handling of tools, equipment, and materials.Commitment to follow proper work orders and required procedures.Strong communication and problem-solving skills.#J-18808-Ljbffr
