Electrical Engineering Dry Utilities

We are seeking a skilled Electrical Engineer specializing in Dry Utilities to join our team in Dubai United Arab this role you will be responsible for designing and overseeing the implementation of dry utility systems including power distribution and telecommunications infrastructure for various projects in the region.Job Duties:Ability to manage a design and approval process interfacing with the project team Clients and Stakeholders In-depth and strong understanding of Abu Dhabi/Dubai/UAE/ KSA and Qatar Authority Guidelines is a mustExperienced in BIM In-depth understanding of relevant software is a must Revit knowledge is additional.Understanding from Concept master plan stage to Detailed Master Plan in terms of utility corridor space proofing ROW coordination with wet roads transportation landscape and building teamsDevelop Master plan report derive demand load calculations tie in point requirements Full understanding of dry utilities and infrastructure projects from Concept to IFC stageStrong infrastructure engineering background with previous experience on infrastructure projects Understanding of the requirements for primary substations HV corridor Block work distribution substations pocket substations feeder pillars and service turrets MV up to 33kV LV networks calculations report writing skillsTelecommunication infrastructure Network Design including ducts manholes and knowledge of GSM tower coverage requirementsDesign of Street Lighting for all type of roads ROW Lighting Calculations SLDs Load schedules landscape lighting branch wiring etc.Coordination with all local authorities of Middle EastPrepare Clarifications to Contractor RFIs Review/approve any key technical submittals related to electrical works and dry utilities(if required)Work towards digitalization skills innovations and improvements to manage workload and accomplish deliverables across individuals teams and projectsUsing leadership skills to build and nurture relationships and also creating effective working environmentsAble to manage multiple teams with diverse backgrounds on geographically and culturally diverse teamsQualifications : Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering or related fieldMinimum of 5 years of experience in electrical engineering specifically in dry utilitiesProfessional Engineer (PE) license preferredProficiency in AutoCAD and other relevant design softwareStrong knowledge of electrical engineering principles and practices particularly in power distribution and telecommunications infrastructureExperience with utility design coordination and project managementFamiliarity with local and international electrical codes and standards including UAE regulationsUnderstanding of utility company requirements and proceduresExcellent problem-solving and analytical skillsStrong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneouslyEffective communication and interpersonal skillsWillingness to perform site visits and work in various locations within the UAEAdditional Information : About AECOM AECOM is proud to offer comprehensive benefits to meet the diverse needs of our employees.
