Electrical Engineer

OverviewWe are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to join the supervision consultancy team for a large-scale infrastructure development project located approximately 100 km north of Jeddah. The selected candidate will assist the Resident Engineer in supervising electrical infrastructure works on site, ensuring compliance with project specifications, approved drawings, and quality standards.ResponsibilitiesSupervise and monitor electrical construction activities on site in accordance with project specifications and approved drawings.Assist the Resident Engineer (Electrical) in overseeing electrical infrastructure works.Supervise installation of power distribution networks (MV & LV).Monitor works related to street lighting systems and associated infrastructure.Supervise installation of telecom infrastructure, including ducts, chambers, and related systems.Coordinate electrical works with other utilities including road networks, water supply, sewage, stormwater, gas distribution, irrigation, and landscaping works.Ensure contractor compliance with approved method statements, drawings, and quality standards.Review contractor submissions including shop drawings, material submittals, and technical documents.Conduct site inspections and quality checks to ensure proper installation and construction practices.Assist in preparing inspection reports, progress reports, and technical documentation.Identify and report technical issues, non-conformances, and delays to the Resident Engineer.QualificationsBachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.Minimum 8 years of experience in infrastructure construction or supervision projects.Strong experience in power distribution (MV/LV), street lighting, and telecom infrastructure.Previous experience working with engineering consultancy firms in a supervision capacity is preferred.Good knowledge of electrical installation standards, inspection procedures, and quality control practices.Strong coordination, inspection, and reporting skills.#J-18808-Ljbffr
