Electrical Engineer (Power Transmission Projects)

<div><h3>Job Purpose</h3><p>The Electrical Engineer is responsible for electrical engineering coordination for plant-related equipment such as 400kV GIS, shunt reactors, and associated systems on the ICAD V project.</p><h3>Dimensions</h3><h3>Internal Interface</h3><ul><li>Site and Project Team</li><li>Internal Interface</li></ul><h3>External Interface</h3><ul><li>Client / consultant</li><li>Customer</li><li>External contractors</li></ul><h3>Roles&Responsibilities</h3><ul><li>Provide engineering support for project planning, execution, and commissioning activities.</li><li>Coordinate with OEMs and design teams for engineering deliverables related to 400kV GIS, shunt reactors, and other associated equipment.</li><li>Review technical documents, drawings, and specifications to ensure compliance with project requirements.</li><li>Support site teams in resolving technical issues during installation and testing.</li><li>Liaise with procurement and quality teams to ensure timely delivery and inspection of electrical equipment.</li><li>Assist in preparing method statements, test procedures, and commissioning plans.</li><li>Prepare and submit the weekly progress reports to the project manager, detailing the status of ongoing activities.</li></ul><h3>Qualification&Experience</h3><h3>Educational Qualification</h3><ul><li>Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering.</li></ul><h3>Experience</h3><ul><li>A minimum of 10+ years of relevant experience in power transmission projects, preferably involving high‑voltage equipment.</li></ul><h3>Skills&Knowledge</h3><ul><li>Possess strong understanding of substation equipment and electrical systems.</li><li>Ability to interpret technical drawings and coordinate with multidisciplinary teams.</li><li>Ability to work in a multi‑cultural environment and coordinate with multidisciplinary teams.</li><li>Possess strong problem‑solving and communication skills.</li></ul></div>#J-18808-Ljbffr
