Electrical Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Electrical Engineer with experience in MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing) systems for high‑rise building construction projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for the design, installation, and maintenance of electrical systems, ensuring compliance with safety codes, regulatory standards, and project specifications.Design & PlanningDevelop and design electrical systems for high‑rise buildings, including power distribution, lighting, emergency systems, and fire alarm systems.Collaborate with other engineers (mechanical, plumbing, and structural) to integrate electrical systems effectively into the overall building design.Ensure electrical designs comply with local codes, regulations, and energy‑efficiency standards.Create and review electrical drawings, layouts, and specifications for the project.Project ManagementOversee the installation of electrical systems, ensuring that installations follow the approved designs, budgets, and timelines.Coordinate and manage contractors, sub‑contractors, and on‑site teams to ensure work is completed to the required quality standards.Review submittals, shop drawings, and material specifications to ensure compliance with the design and project requirements.Perform regular site inspections to monitor progress and resolve electrical issues during construction.System Integration & TestingEnsure proper integration of electrical systems with other MEP systems (mechanical and plumbing).Conduct electrical system testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting to verify performance and reliability.Work with the team to address any issues during commissioning and ensure all systems are operational before handover.Compliance & Quality AssuranceEnsure compliance with local electrical codes, safety standards, and environmental regulations.Implement quality control procedures to monitor the installation of electrical systems and identify any potential risks or issues.RequirementsBachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.Minimum of 10 years of experience in electrical engineering, particularly in high‑rise or large‑scale construction projects.Proficiency in electrical design software (AutoCAD, Revit, or similar).Strong understanding of electrical codes, standards, and regulations.Experience with building power distribution systems, lighting, emergency backup, and safety systems (e.g., fire alarms, CCTV).Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem‑solving skills.Excellent communication and project management skills.#J-18808-Ljbffr
