About the job Electrical Engineer (AWAFI)Stantec is currently looking for an Electrical Engineer to join our dynamic site team and support on a construction supervision project in Dubai.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign and develop electrical systems for various projects, including street lighting, power cables, substations, telecomConduct site visits and inspections to gather information and assess project requirementsPrepare technical drawings, specifications, and cost estimates for electrical systemsCollaborate with architects, engineers, and other project team members to ensure coordinated and integrated design solutionsReview and approve contractor submittals, shop drawings, and other project documentationConduct electrical calculations and analysis to ensure compliance with codes and standardsMonitor project progress and provide technical support during construction and commissioning phasesPerform quality control checks to ensure design and construction meet project requirementsKeep up-to-date with industry trends, advancements, and best practices in electrical engineeringQualificationsBachelor's degree in Electrical EngineeringMinimum of 8 years of experience in electrical engineering design and project managementStrong technical backgroundExcellent knowledge of Electrical systems, products and materialsExcellent knowledge of applicable Electrical design and construction codesExcellent oral and written communication skillsExcellent command of Microsoft Office business solutions (Excel, Word)Ability to review and comment properly on necessary documentationExcellent understanding of specifications and Authority requirementsComplete project understanding in a given discipline, from start to hand‑over.MUST HAVE experience in Street lighting, power cables, substations, telecomDEWA/EWE/RTA approval (MUST)MUST HAVE experience working with supervision consultantsMUST HAVE full and complete knowledge of existing infrastructure networks in the emirates of DubaiValid driver's license (Preferred)#J-18808-Ljbffr
