The Project comprises the Plant and associated Electrical Special Facilities (ESF). The Plant will be located inland at a site situated approximately 50 km north-east of the City of Abu Dhabi.This role offers a unique opportunity to engage in the full lifecycle of the project, from design and engineering to construction and operation, all within a dynamic and innovative environment. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in the planning, design, and construction phases, ensuring compliance with industry standards, regulations, and project specifications.Your Job Functions (Duties & Responsibilities)Project PlanningCollaborate with project teams to develop and review electrical engineering project plansEnsure alignment of electrical engineering activities with project objectives and timelinesDesign AnalysisReview the designs documents prepared by EPC contractor and provide comments. Attend design review meetingsReview the special studies performed by third party and provide commentEquipment Selection and SourcingAssist in selection of appropriate electrical equipment and materials based on project requirementsCollaborate with procurement teams to source high-quality and cost-effective componentsConstruction OversightOversee electrical construction activities to ensure compliance with design specifications and quality standardsCollaborate with construction teams to address and resolve on-site engineering issuesQuality AssuranceImplement and maintain quality control measures for electrical engineering componentsConduct regular inspections to verify compliance with industry standardsBudget and Cost ManagementCollaborate with project managers and cost engineers to develop and manage electrical engineering budgetsMonitor and control costs to ensure projects stay within budget constraintsDocumentation and ReportingMaintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of electrical engineering activitiesPrepare regular progress reports and documentation for project managementStakeholder CommunicationAct as a liaison between the electrical engineering team and other project stakeholdersProvide regular updates to senior management on electrical engineering progress and challengesRequirementsBachelor's degree in electrical engineering or a related field5 - 7 years Proven experience as an Electrical Engineer, in power generation (CCGT) or EPC projectsProfessional Engineer (PE) license is desirableStrong knowledge of electrical engineering principles, practices, and standardsExcellent project management and communication skillsAbility to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team#J-18808-Ljbffr
