Electrical Draftsman

The primary objective of the Electrical Draftsman is to support the project handover process by preparing and organizing all required electrical drawings and documentation. This role is crucial for ensuring a smooth, accurate, and compliant final submission to the client for project closure.Key ResponsibilitiesTechnical Drafting and DocumentationPrepare, revise, and finalize As-Built electrical drawings (including single-line diagrams, schematic diagrams, cable tray layouts, lighting/power layouts, and earthing plans) based on red-line markups and site verification records.Utilize relevant CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD) proficiently to execute drafting and modification tasks.Conduct thorough reviews of all drawings and documents to ensure accuracy, completeness, and adherence to project standards and regulatory codes before final submission.Project Handover SupportOrganize, index, and compile all final electrical documents, ensuring they are correctly numbered, dated, and conform to the project's document control procedures and client specifications.Assist in preparing the final project handover dossier, including operation and maintenance (O&M) manuals, technical specifications, and manufacturer data sheets related to electrical systems.Collaborate with Project Engineers, Construction Teams, and Document Controllers to swiftly obtain necessary sign-offs and resolve any discrepancies found in the final documentation package.Required QualificationsExperience: Minimum 5 years of experience as an Electrical Draftsman in the Construction industry, preferably on major civil or industrial projects.Technical Skills: Expert proficiency in AutoCAD and strong knowledge of drafting standards for electrical installation works.Documentation: Proven experience specifically in preparing As-Built drawings and compiling project handover documentation.Knowledge: Solid understanding of electrical systems, components, and standard international drafting symbols.Soft Skills: High level of attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and effective communication ability for coordinating documentation across teams.#J-18808-Ljbffr
