Job Code: 251/001/305Industry: Construction & ElectromechanicalJob BriefWe are seeking a skilled Electrical Draftsman to prepare, update, and manage electrical drawings in accordance with project requirements and the engineer's instructions. The candidate will support the engineering and site teams by producing accurate electrical CAD drawings and maintaining proper documentation throughout the project lifecycle.Job ResponsibilitiesPrepare and update electrical CAD drawings, including power, lighting, and wiring layouts.Develop single-line diagrams (SLD), cable routing drawings, and panel layouts.Follow the electrical engineer's instructions, approved shop drawings, and project specifications.Revise drawings based on consultant, client, or site comments and design changes.Maintain proper drawing control, file organization, and version tracking.Prepare as-built drawings after installation completion.Coordinate with engineers, project managers, and site teams to ensure drawing accuracy and compliance with site conditions.Assist in preparing basic material take-offs (MTO) from drawings when required.Job RequirementsDiploma or certification in Electrical Engineering / Drafting or a related field.Proven experience as an Electrical Draftsman in construction or MEP projects.Proficiency in AutoCAD (mandatory).Good understanding of electrical systems, drawings, and symbols.Familiarity with UAE standards and project documentation is an advantage.Ability to manage multiple revisions and meet project deadlines.Strong coordination and communication skills.#J-18808-Ljbffr
