Electrical Design Engineer

Madre Integrated Engineering | Full timeThe Electrical Design Engineer is responsible for designing, developing, and reviewing electrical systems for industrial, commercial, or infrastructure projects. The role involves preparing detailed electrical drawings, calculations, and technical documentation while ensuring compliance with international standards, client specifications, and local regulations.Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare electrical design calculations, layouts, and schematics for LV/MV systems.Develop detailed drawings for power distribution, lighting, grounding, earthing, and ELV systems.Perform load calculations, cable sizing, short‑circuit analysis, and voltage drop calculations.Coordinate with mechanical, civil, and instrumentation teams to ensure design integration.Review vendor drawings, technical submittals, and material specifications.Ensure compliance with IEC, BS, NEC, IEEE, and local authority standards.Support project execution teams with technical clarifications and design modifications.Participate in design reviews, technical meetings, and client discussions.Assist during commissioning and testing phases as required.RequirementsBachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.Minimum 10 years of experience in electrical design engineering.Strong knowledge of LV/MV systems, power distribution, lighting, and earthing systems.Proficient in AutoCAD (ETAP, Dialux, or similar tools are an advantage).Experience in industrial, oil & gas, infrastructure, or commercial projects preferred.Good understanding of electrical codes, safety standards, and project documentation.Strong analytical, coordination, and problem‑solving skills.Ability to work independently and meet project deadlines.#J-18808-Ljbffr
