Electrical Commissioning Engineer | Oil and Gas/Petrochemical | Saudi Arabia

<div><h3>Role Summary</h3><p>We are seeking an experienced Electrical Commissioning Engineer to lead and execute all electrical pre‑commissioning and commissioning activities in accordance with OPERCOM®️ methodology and project specifications. The role involves energization of substations, functional testing, and coordination with EPCC and Proponent teams to ensure safe and timely commissioning.</p><h3>Key Responsibilities</h3><ul><li>Execute and supervise electrical pre‑commissioning&commissioning activities.</li><li>Perform functional tests of circuit breakers, relays, protection systems, UPS, motors, and lighting.</li><li>Coordinate and supervise HV network energization (up to 240 kV).</li><li>Oversee switchgear and switchboard operations during commissioning.</li><li>Review and approve commissioning procedures, check sheets, and dossiers.</li><li>Ensure strict compliance with HSE standards and safe work practices.</li><li>Support progress reporting and interface with construction and operations teams.</li></ul><h3>Qualifications</h3><ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.</li><li>Minimum 10 years of electrical commissioning experience in oil&gas or petrochemical plants.</li><li>Strong knowledge of HV systems, power distribution, protection systems, and substation equipment.</li><li>Familiarity with OPERCOM®️ and ICAPS®️ is an advantage.</li><li>Fluent in English; Arabic is a plus.</li></ul><h3>Skills&Competencies</h3><ul><li>Strong technical understanding of electrical systems.</li><li>Ability to supervise contractors during testing and energization.</li><li>Excellent communication and coordination skills.</li><li>Organized, methodical, and safety‑driven.</li></ul><h3>Compensation&Benefits</h3><p>Salary – will be discussed after the interview. However, kindly let us know your expected salary package.</p><p>Food – will be under employee’s scope.</p><p>Accommodation – 25% of basic salary will be provided by company.</p><p>Transportation – 10% of basic salary will be provided by company.</p><p>Working hours and weekly schedule – 8 hours/day, 48 hours/week. Hours above 48 will be calculated as OT.</p><p>Overtime policy – Hours above 48 will be calculated as OT.</p><p>Contract duration – Two year; contract can be renewed if both parties agree.</p><p>Visa and ticket provisions – 30 calendar days/year; ticket 2,500/year total amount for both ways.</p></div>#J-18808-Ljbffr
