Job Description
Malaak is seeking a compassionate and experienced Elderly Care Nurse to join our in-home care team. The ideal candidate should be a nursing graduate or have an RN license with practical experience in elderly care. This role is perfect for someone who values patient-centered care and is dedicated to enhancing the quality of life for elderly clients in their homes.Key ResponsibilitiesDirect Elderly Care: Provide high-quality compassionate care to elderly clients including assistance with daily living activities personal hygiene mobility support and meal preparation. Monitor vital signs and address basic healthcare needs with accuracy.Care Planning: Collaborate with families and healthcare professionals to develop individualized care plans tailored to meet each client’s unique health requirements and personal preferences.Patient and Family Education: Offer guidance and support to families educating them on elder care techniques proper use of medical equipment and ongoing care needs.Safety and Compliance: Adhere to safety protocols and infection control procedures ensuring a safe and clean environment for clients. Maintain up-to-date documentation of care provided in compliance with homecare standards.QualificationsCertification and Education:Nursing graduate (Bachelor’s degree or diploma) with experience in elderly care; ORRegistered Nurse (RN) with experience in elderly care.Experience: A minimum of 2 years in a healthcare setting focused on elderly or homecare services.Skills and Competencies:Strong understanding of elderly care needs including chronic condition management and personal assistance.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a compassionate patient-centered approach.Ability to work independently and provide high-quality care in a home setting.About UsMalaak is committed to delivering exceptional in-home care to elderly clients prioritizing comfort dignity and individualized care.
