<div><h3>Job Summary</h3><p>Responsible for assessing the risk in hotel work environment to minimize associates’ illness and injury during work hours. Inspect hazardous factors in the work environment, quality of equipment or facilities used by associates. Lead the organization toward a healthy and safe work environment by advising, monitoring, and reporting in the workplace, and engaging staff in programs that ensure safe practices.</p><h3>Candidate Profile</h3><p>Bachelor’s degree in Food Technology, Microbiology, or Biotechnology. NEBOSH/IOSH certification or equivalent; understanding of OSHAD/ADOSH practitioner/entity requirements. Internal auditor qualifications in ISO 9001/22000 and Lead Auditor – 45001 preferred. 5–8 years of combined EHS and Quality/Brand leadership in luxury 5‑star hospitality. Demonstrated experience dealing with DCT Abu Dhabi inspections and compliance, as well as ADOSH. Proven experience in ADAFSA, EFST, HACCP and food safety systems. Technical Associate Membership in IOSH. Strong track record with Marriott Brand Standards and BSA preparation. Familiarity with DCT classification criteria and audit methodology. Ability to run internal quality, brand, safety and hygiene audits. Leadership presence with cross‑departmental influence. High attention to detail in documentation, compliance and reporting. Strong problem‑solving and analytical abilities, especially in root‑cause investigations. Excellent communication skills for handling regulators, auditors and brand assessors.</p><h3>Core Work Activities</h3><ul><li>Inspect or evaluate workplace environments, equipment, or practices to ensure compliance with safety standards and government regulations.</li><li>Conduct hazard and risk assessments at the property to include quarterly OSHA/SAFETY audits, incident tracking, and the hazard abatement process.</li><li>Submit Workplace Risk Assessment Report and Workplace Occupational Health and Safety workbook.</li><li>Propose the Workbook to the Occupational Health and Safety Committee every six months.</li><li>Complete and submit required biannual Occupational Health and safety reports to Labor Protection and Welfare Office.</li><li>Suspension of activities that pose threats to workers' health or safety.</li><li>Recommend measures to help protect workers from potentially hazardous work methods, processes, or materials.</li><li>Investigate accidents to identify causes or to determine how such accidents might be prevented in the future.</li><li>Advise management regarding health or safety issues.</li><li>Investigate the adequacy of ventilation, exhaust equipment, lighting, or other conditions that could affect employee health, comfort, or performance.</li><li>Investigate health‑related complaints and inspect facilities to ensure compliance with public health legislation and regulations.</li><li>Collect and analyze data, and provide reports and suggestions on hazards, illness and distress occurring during all employees’ work hours.</li><li>Conduct tests of facilities for environmental hazards.</li><li>Collaborate with healthcare professionals to plan or provide treatment.</li><li>Consult with others regarding safe or healthy equipment or facilities.</li><li>Maintain or update emergency response plans or procedures.</li><li>Develop emergency procedures with other departments.</li><li>Collaborate with engineers or physicians/Nurse to institute control or remedial measures for hazardous or potentially hazardous conditions or equipment.</li><li>Develop or maintain hygiene standard in the workplace.</li><li>Inspect specified areas to ensure the presence of fire prevention equipment, safety equipment, or first‑aid supplies.</li><li>Build the Health and Safety Awareness for employees.</li><li>Conduct safety training or education programs and demonstrate the use of safety equipment.</li><li>Conduct health or safety training programs for all employees at least once a year as mandated by law.</li><li>Provide new‑employee health and safety orientations and develop materials for these presentations.</li><li>Prepare healthcare training materials.</li></ul><h3>Key Responsibilities</h3><ul><li>Maintain, update and audit the full OSHMS per OSHAD/ADOSH requirements.</li><li>Ensure OSHAD entity/practitioner requirements and administrative mechanisms are met.</li><li>Translate 5‑star DCT classification criteria into SOPs, checklists and compliance audits.</li><li>Lead hazard identification&risk assessments (HIRA) across all guest and staff areas, covering PPE, first aid, Legionella, manual handling, heat stress, workplace wellness and job safety analysis.</li><li>Manage emergency preparedness, including fire life safety systems, drills, evacuations and business continuity planning.</li><li>Oversee contractor safety, permit‑to‑work, and isolation controls.</li><li>Lead all incident investigations, root‑cause analyses, corrective actions and statutory notifications for guests, associates and third‑party incidents
