EHS Coordinator

Job DescriptionSummary- The EHS Coordinator will be responsible for ensuring compliance with environmental, health, and safety regulations within the organization. They will develop and implement policies and programs to maintain a safe and environmentally friendly workplace.Job Responsibility-Develop and implement EHS policies and programs to ensure compliance with local regulations and standardsConduct regular safety audits and inspections to identify potential hazards and risksTrain employees on proper safety procedures and protocolsInvestigate accidents and near misses to determine root causes and implement preventive measuresMaintain records of incidents, injuries, and safety performanceCollaborate with management to address any safety concerns and make necessary improvementsStay up-to-date on new regulations and industry best practicesCandidate Requirements-Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Health and Safety, or related fieldProven experience working in EHS compliance and regulationsStrong knowledge of local EHS laws and regulationsExcellent communication and training skillsAttention to detail and strong analytical skillsCertification in EHS (e.g. OSHA) is a plus.SkillsIn-depth knowledge of health, safety, and environmental regulations and standardsStrong understanding of risk assessment and managementExcellent communication skills to effectively train and educate staff on safety proceduresAbility to conduct audits and inspections to ensure compliance with regulationsProficient in incident investigation and root cause analysisStrong organizational skills to develop and implement safety programsAttention to detail and problem-solving skillsAbility to work collaboratively with different teams and departmentsProficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant softwareCertification in occupational health and safety (e.g. NEBOSH)#J-18808-Ljbffr
