As we expand our digital footprint, we seek a dynamic E‑Commerce Director to lead our online sales strategy and drive our e‑commerce business to new heights. The E‑Commerce Director will be responsible for developing and executing the e‑commerce strategy to maximize sales, enhance brand presence, and improve customer experience across all digital platforms. This role requires a blend of strategic vision, technical know‑how, and leadership skills to manage a growing team and collaborate with cross‑functional departments.ResponsibilitiesDevelop and implement a comprehensive e‑commerce strategy aligned with the company's growth objectivesIdentify new revenue opportunities and optimize existing channels to increase market share and profitabilityPerform daily and weekly business reviews, sending out recaps to the broader organizationCollaborate with brand marketing and planning teams to align upcoming collections with sales and marketing targetsExecute integrated commercial programs across various channels to excel during key online shopping events and reinvigorate replenishment strategy for increased Customer Lifetime ValueTranslate new campaign launches into customer journeys for the online channel and manage trends curationOversee execution of merchandising and content strategy for the KAYALI website, identifying specific categories/sub‑categoriesLead personalization and A/B test strategy while partnering with cross‑functional teams to support special requests and ensure seamless executionCollaborate closely with key cross‑functional teams to drive qualified traffic and ensure alignment with brand visionCollaborate with the Product Development team to create a roadmap supporting the ecommerce strategyLead UX analytics and optimizations, focusing on mobile, desktop, and tablet experiences with a data‑driven mindsetProvide recommendations for site enhancements and leverage analytics tools for in‑depth analysisEstablish and maintain relationships with external partners, such as digital agencies and technology providers, to enhance e‑commerce capabilitiesNegotiate contracts and manage budgets to ensure cost‑effective solutionsTeam LeadershipLead, mentor and develop a high‑performing e‑commerce teamFoster a culture of innovation and continuous improvementCoordinate with cross‑functional teams, including IT, logistics, and customer service, to ensure efficient operationsRequirementsBachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field; MBA preferredMinimum of 12 years of experience in e‑commerce, with at least 5 years in a leadership role within the fragrance, beauty, or luxury goods industryProven track record of driving e‑commerce growth and managing large‑scale digital marketing campaignsExcellent communication skills with a knack for storytelling and crafting compelling narratives across various digital channelsWorking knowledge of Salesforce, Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Google TrendsAbility to lead and challenge external agenciesAbility to retain and lead a full team, making team members grow through new challengesA leader profile and entrepreneurial mindset with the rigor and discipline to build the business and creative competencies that will allow us to stand out in the marketBenefitsPremium Medical/Dental/Vision coverageFind your Magic DaysVolunteer DayBirthday LeaveEgg Freezing BenefitsEmployee discounts on all Kayali productsQuarterly product giftingKayali is committed to building diverse and inclusive teams and upholding an equal employment workplace that is free from discrimination.
