The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in programming, calibrating, and troubleshooting ECM and TCM systems for various vehicle makes and models. You will play a key role in optimising transmission systems, enhancing vehicle performance, and delivering top-quality service to our clients.Key Responsibilities:Programming and Calibration:Program and reprogram ECM and TCM modules for automatic and manual transmissions.Customise gearbox settings for performance, fuel economy, or specialised driving needs.Diagnostics and Troubleshooting:Use advanced diagnostic tools to identify and resolve transmission-related issues.Recalibrate faulty ECM/TCM systems to ensure optimal performance.Software Updates and Integration:Update ECM and TCM software to the latest manufacturer specifications.Flash and install firmware for various vehicle brands and models.Custom Tuning and Performance Optimisation:Modify transmission maps for high-performance vehicles or specific driving conditions.Work on bespoke tuning projects for individual and fleet vehicles.Collaboration and Support:Work closely with the mechanical team to ensure seamless integration of programmed modules.Provide guidance on interpreting diagnostic results and using programming tools.Equipment Maintenance:Ensure diagnostic and programming tools are regularly calibrated and updated.Qualifications:Experience and Skills:Minimum of 3 years of hands‑on experience in ECM/TCM programming and calibration.Proficiency with programming tools such as KESSv2, KTAG, AutoHex, WinOLS, or similar.Strong understanding of vehicle electronics, drivetrain systems, and transmission mechanics.Educational Background:Diploma or degree in Automotive Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field (preferred but not mandatory with relevant experience).Certifications in automotive programming or advanced diagnostics are a plus.Technical Knowledge:Expertise in ECM/TCM software and firmware updates.Familiarity with manufacturer‑specific software (e.g., VAG‑COM, ISTA, or similar).Key Attributes:Strong problem‑solving and analytical skills.Attention to detail and precision in programming tasks.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.What We Offer:Competitive salary and performance‑based incentives.Opportunity to work with cutting‑edge automotive technology.Collaborative work environment in a well‑established garage.Professional development and training opportunities.Similar Job Titles in Dubai:Transmission ProgrammerGearbox Calibration EngineerECM/TCM SpecialistAutomotive ProgrammerTo Apply:Please fill in all the fields and submit your CV to this job post.About Us:
