You will be working alongside a team of highly motivated professionals who are committed to student progress, holistic development, and inspiring students to remain physically active.The PE team plays an active role in extra-curricular sports and successfully runs teams across a wide range of disciplines. Candidates are expected to contribute fully to both curriculum and extra-curricular PE and sport.Our department also offers an extensive swimming programme, to which all members contribute. Experience in teaching swimming would be advantageous.While PE teachers are designated as either ‘Primary’ or ‘Secondary’, members of the department may be required to contribute across both schools therefore experience in all Key Stages would be advantegeous.If you feel that you have the focused and positive mindset to join our dynamic team, we would welcome your application.The successful applicant will be required to have the following:Certified teaching qualification in PE or (PGCE or equivalent) and possess QTS certification.A minimum of 3 years’ experience teaching physical education in the UK or a reputable British school overseasEvidence of leading a wide range of extra-curricular sports activities.Confidence and competence in delivering and contributing to the PE curriculum across relevant age groups.Evidence of continuing professional development in Physical EducationExperience and passion for EYFS and Primary PE and swimming (Desirable)Ability to teach up to IGCSE Physical Education/BTEC Sport Level 2 with a proven track record of strong student performance outcomes (Desirable)#J-18808-Ljbffr
