Tomorrow can’t wait, let’s shape it together!BAT has an exciting opportunity for an Account Manager in DubaiGTR Account Manager is required to plan, negotiate, and implement key initiatives that drive volume, market share growth and profitability in a defined portfolio of accounts in line with the GTR marketing strategy and guidelines, with the ambition of supporting BAT’s transforming “A Better Tomorrow” agenda.Your key responsibilities will include:Operational/Professional/BusinessManage responsible key accounts end to end operation and deliver volume, market share, and profit as per expectations.Building and developing customer relationships. Establish relationships with key staffs and board level of customers.Lead account strategy & work with account executive & activation team to develop specific account business plans.Commercial agreement negotiations for responsible key accounts and ensure BAT investments are used in a balanced manner based on TCI principles to ensuring BAT’s fair share of net available.Improve legitimate volume and value potential of BAT brands in travel retail channels (border shops, diplomatic outlets, ferries, airlines).Explore all responsible growth opportunities in coverage markets with key focus on Global Drive Brands and Next Generation Products.Confer with customers and airport authorities to keep abreast of airport developments; evaluate potential opportunities and act to exploit these.Identify and drive efficiency improvement of account business model.Conduct consistent key accounts business reviews.Drive analysis of responsible markets and accounts.Management, Leadership & RelationshipsProvide development and mentor to direct reports, ensure progression within the organisation.Closely work with activation team in development of activation strategy and implementation to ensure delivery.Drive understanding, two-way communication, and buy-in of travel retail account strategies with relevant internal business partners.Collaborate closely with GTR cross functional team members to optimize business performance.Ensure GTR governance and policies obligations are met.What are we looking for?5+ years of strong account management experience in a managerial position within a multinational company (preferably in FMCG)Global travel retail and Qatar duty free experience is advantageousStrong people soft skills and ability to influence partnersAbility to work independently with an emphasis on delivering outcomesProven Business and Financial Acumen.Capability & experience for Route to Market planning and review.Marketing knowledge – formal qualification desirable with comprehensive understanding of all elements of the marketing mixProven analytical, interpersonal, communication (oral and written), negotiation and planning skillsWorking knowledge of all inter-related company functions including Supply Chain, Marketing Finance, IT, Customer Service, Legal, HR and the management of agencies.Ability to analyse problem and recommend solutions and drive action plans within organisational policyWritten and spoken proficiency in English.
