We are seeking a professional and detail-oriented Heavy Vehicle Driver to join our dynamic team in Dubai United Arab Emirates. As a key member of our transportation department you will be responsible for the safe and efficient delivery of goods across the region while adhering to all traffic laws and company policies.Operate heavy vehicles such as trailers or semi-trailers to transport goods to designated locationsConduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety and compliancePlan and optimize routes using GPS navigation systems to ensure timely deliveriesNavigate Dubais road network efficiently considering local traffic patterns and regulationsMaintain accurate logs of driving hours deliveries and any incidents or delaysAssist with loading and unloading of cargo when necessaryCommunicate effectively with dispatchers customers and team membersReport any vehicle maintenance issues or safety concerns promptlyAdapt to various weather conditions and maintain safe driving practices at all timesRepresent the company professionally when interacting with clients and the publicQualificationsValid Category 4 UAE License for heavy vehicle drivingMinimum of 5 years of experience driving heavy vehiclesHigh school diploma or equivalentExcellent knowledge of traffic rules and regulations particularly in the UAE and DubaiProven track record of safe driving and adherence to transportation lawsBasic vehicle maintenance skillsProficiency in using GPS navigation systemsStrong time management and organizational skillsEffective communication skills in EnglishPhysical ability to assist with loading and unloading when requiredFlexibility to work various shifts including nights and weekends if neededFamiliarity with Dubais road network and traffic patternsClean driving record with no major traffic violationsAbility to work in hot climate conditions typical of DubaiKnowledge of local transportation regulations in DubaiFirst Aid certification (preferred)Hazardous materials handling certification (if applicable to the specific role)Remote WorkNoEmployment TypeFull-time#J-18808-Ljbffr
