With a focus on precision, accountability and professionalism you will contribute directly to the seamless flow of materials and support the company’s mission of delivering high‑quality products on time every time.ResponsibilitiesSafely operate delivery and transport vehicles (including trucks, forklifts and material handlers) to deliver raw materials, components and finished products to internal and external locations.Conduct pre‑ and post‑trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with safety standards and report any mechanical issues promptly.Load and unload cargo using appropriate equipment ensuring proper handling, stacking and securing of materials to prevent damage.Maintain accurate records of deliveries, routes, fuel consumption and maintenance logs using digital or manual systems.Adhere strictly to all local, state and federal transportation regulations including hours‑of‑service rules and hazardous materials handling protocols.Communicate effectively with warehouse staff, logistics coordinators and production teams to coordinate pickup and delivery schedules.Respond promptly to schedule changes, emergencies or delays ensuring minimal disruption to operations.Uphold the highest standards of safety, cleanliness and professionalism at all times while representing the company in the field.RequirementsHigh school diploma or equivalent; additional vocational training in transportation or logistics is a plus.Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with appropriate endorsements (e.g., Class B or C depending on vehicle type).Minimum of 2 years of experience as a commercial driver in a manufacturing, logistics or distribution environment.Proven track record of safe driving with a clean driving record and no major violations.Familiarity with material handling equipment (e.g., forklifts, pallet jacks) and warehouse operations.Strong attention to detail, time management and organizational skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast‑paced, deadline‑driven environment.Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs., stand for extended periods and work in varying weather conditions.Willingness to work flexible hours including weekends, overtime and shift rotations as needed.Knowledge of OSHA and DOT regulations related to transportation and cargo safety.$salaryrange per year, commensurate with experience.#J-18808-Ljbffr
