Driller

The Driller is responsible for supervising and carrying out the drilling and well control and other work in connection with the drilling operations.The Driller oversees safe operation of the drilling control system; draw works; pipe handling systems; mud circulating systems; and Blow-out prevention (BOP) equipment in accordance with the requirements specified in the operating procedures.The Driller oversees the drill crew and ensures the safe completion of all operations on the drill floor including daily preventative maintenance of all equipment.Supervises, coordinates, trains, evaluates the performance of the drill crew. RequirementsValid Well Control Certificate at Driller Level issued by IWCFA minimum of 5-7 years of experience working as a drillerValid BOSIET (OPITO approved) or equivalent certificateValid OGUK MedicalValid IWCF Level 3 Well Control Certification
