This role is responsible for tracking planned, actual and committed costs, ensuring alignment with project budgets and schedules across all phases of studies and project delivery.The successful candidate will contribute to cost control processes on medium to large‑scale projects, working closely with the project team to provide timely and reliable financial insights. Strong analytical skills, attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities are essential.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and maintain project cost reports and forecastsMonitor planned, actual, and committed costsSupport budget control and cost tracking processesAssist with cost analysis and variance reportingCollaborate with project teams to ensure financial accuracy and transparencyContribute to continuous improvement of cost control systems and processesEligibility Criteria10 to 15 years of relevant professional experience, ideally with exposure to large‑scale, multidisciplinary projects.A recognised bachelor's degree or diploma in Finance or Business‑related discipline will be advantageous.AACEI Certified Cost Technician (CCT) or Certified Cost Professional (CCP) registration will be advantageous.Key Competencies RequiredStrong communication and engagement skills, with the ability to interact confidently and effectively with employees and stakeholders at all levels across the organisation.Adaptability and resilience, with the ability to operate in a fast‑paced, constantly evolving business and cultural context while managing shifting priorities.Proven execution capability, including managing multiple workstreams, coordinating across teams, and ensuring attention to detail in high‑impact deliverables.Self‑driven and proactive, with the ability to independently initiate and drive work without close supervision, while maintaining alignment with broader team and project goals.Collaboration, networking and Cultural Sensitivity, ability to collaborate and build trusted relationships across geographies, time zones, and business units. This includes a high level of cultural awareness and sensitivity, particularly in navigating the social, professional, and organisational norms of Saudi Arabia. Successful candidates will be expected to show respect for local customs and values, and to adapt their communication and engagement style to foster strong, respectful working relationships in a cross‑cultural environment.Strategic thinking paired with hands‑on delivery, balancing long‑term planning with the flexibility to address immediate project needs.Technical capability, adaptability in diverse environments, and a commitment to upholding DRA's values and professional standards.Please note that successful applicants will also need to meet the eligibility criteria for a Saudi Arabia skills‑based work permit, which includes verification of qualifications, years of experience, and alignment with the occupational categories approved by local authorities.
