Distribution Partner Manager

Amazon Web Services is leading the next paradigm shift in computing and is looking for a dynamic results oriented candidate to join as the Distribution Partner Manager Middle East & North Africa market.As the Partner Manager within Amazon Web Services (AWS) you will have the exciting opportunity to help shape and deliver on a strategy to build mind share and broad use of AWS services and solutions within the portfolio of partners and solution providers.Your broad responsibilities will include helping to define and execute against the distribution partner program, establishing business and technical relationships with AWS distributors in the market and managing the day-to-day interactions with these organizations in order to build long‑term business and marketing opportunities. The ideal candidate will possess both a business background that enables them to drive an engagement and interact at the CXO/VP level as well as a technical background that enables them to easily interact with software developers and architects. She/He should also have a demonstrated ability to think strategically about business product and technical challenges with the ability to build and convey compelling value propositions. The candidate for this role should also have experience working with large distributors VARs SI ITO providers etc. and be able to manage complex partnerships and be comfortable working across various teams and earning trust. The candidate should be a self‑starter, self‑motivated driver who gets things done and has a bias for action and delivering results.Key Job ResponsibilitiesServe as a key member of the MENAT Partner team in helping to drive the overall AWS Distribution strategy and RTMHave a broad based understanding of cloud technologiesDevelop a group of committed partners and distributors including a plan to recruit, onboard, educate and measure them in country and in the regionDevelop and execute the strategic business development plan while working with key internal stakeholders (e.g. specialist partner teams, program teams, sales, marketing, legal, support etc.)Work with specific distributors/partners to develop the business value proposition for using our services and solutions for the specific prospects/partners; educate and enable them for using AWS solutionsPut in place plans and execute upon partner originated pipelinePrepare and drive Qrtrly business reviews with the senior management team regarding progress against budgeted plan and any potential roadblocks to executionManage complex contract negotiations and serve as a liaison to the legal groupDevelop long‑term strategic partnerships in support of the market strategyQualifications3 years of business development partnership management or sourcing new business experienceBachelor's degree or equivalentExperience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvementsExperience in online advertising or high-tech products/servicesRequired ExperienceManagerAWS inclusive culture & EEO statementOur inclusive culture empowers Amazonians to deliver the best results for our customers.
