Job SummaryBlack & Grey HR is recruiting for a leading landscaping company based in Abu Dhabi. Our client is looking to hire a Director of Technical Engineering to provide strategic leadership, technical direction, and operational oversight across all engineering and design functions.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and implement the engineering strategy to support the company’s long‑term goals.Promote innovation, digital tools, and process improvements to keep the organization competitive.Advise senior leadership on technical issues, emerging technologies, and engineering best practices.Ensure all engineering activities align with business goals, cost‑efficiency, and sustainability objectives.Oversee planning, design, and execution of large‑scale engineering projects.Deliver projects on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.Identify risks and develop mitigation strategies to keep projects on track.Guarantee compliance with UAE regulations and international standards (e.g., ISO, ASME, OSHA).Conduct safety and quality audits to maintain operational integrity.Embed sustainable and environmentally friendly practices into engineering operations.Lead, mentor, and develop a multidisciplinary team of engineers.Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous learning.Manage team resources, support career development, training, and performance management initiatives.Build strong relationships with clients, contractors, and government authorities.Represent the company in technical meetings and negotiations.Manage budgets and resources efficiently to achieve cost‑effective outcomes.QualificationsEducationBachelor’s degree in Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, or related field) – required.Master’s degree in Engineering Management, Business Administration, or related field – preferred.Professional certifications (e.g., PMP, Chartered Engineer) – a plus.ExperienceMinimum of 18 years of experience in engineering project management or technical operations within facilities management, construction, or infrastructure.At least 10 years in a senior leadership role managing teams and large‑scale projects.Skills & CompetenciesProven ability to provide strategic direction and lead engineering teams.Strong technical knowledge of engineering design and project management.In‑depth understanding of UAE laws and international engineering standards.Excellent leadership and talent‑development skills.Outstanding communication, negotiation, and stakeholder‑management abilities.Proficiency with engineering software and data‑analysis tools.BenefitsAttractive salary and benefits package.#J-18808-Ljbffr
