Director- Product Governance

ResponsibilitiesSupport establish manage and monitor governance aspects of Investment Products and SolutionEnsure investment policies and processes are aligned with governance frameworks and relevant regulationsManage affairs of various investment committeesDevelop and manage governance dashboard for the investment solutions departmentDue diligence of fund / investments products performance on regular or adhoc basisAssisting in completing due diligence questionnaire of third party service providersLead in the areas of Regulatory Governance Risk and Compliance and ensure risk is identified controlled and managed for GPB.Work closely with local and international stakeholders to implement best practices maintain a strong control environment and proactively identify and resolve any issues.Key AccountabilitiesMonitor and assess investment processes to ensure compliance with FAB policies regulationsSupport the development of governance strategies and reporting mechanism based on investment related process regulation etc.Conduct risk assessments related to governance aspects of investment product product program SOP regulatory reporting etc.Assist in creating and maintaining Risk Control SelfAssessment plan on yearonyear basis and manage closure of the process on timely mannerMonitor changes in financial regulations and governance standards affecting investment activities and suggest changes to the policy and processes impacting investment product activitiesEnsure compliance with relevant laws regulations and industry standards and reporting requirementsCollaborate with legal and various compliance team in FAB (PB compliance and Regulatory compliance team etc. to align investments with governance regulationsFacilitate communication between investment teams senior management and stakeholders on governance issuesPrepare and present reports analysis and recommendations on governance compliance and investment performanceMaintain relationships with external regulatory bodies auditors and other stakeholders to ensure adherence to governance practicesProvide training and guidance to investment staff on governance policies and best practicesContinuously educate investment team on emerging trends and regulatory changes in governanceCollaborate with management and investment teams to integrate governance factors into strategic investment planningResponsible to keep investment solution policy and process documents up to dateRemain the point of contact for product team during internal audit and compliance audit further manage the resolution of audit points in timely mannerSecretary of Investment Products Steering Committee and Investment Committee. The role includes Keeping TORs updated and current scheduling committee meetings preparing and circulation of meeting agenda and minutes of meeting tracking action itemsProduct Exposure Meetings: Conduct quarterly product exposure meetings prepare minutes of the meeting and circulate to the management.Lead the Investment Products & Solutions policy framework and proceduresPreparation and Circulation of MIS to Products and Service ManagementPrepare regulatory filings (application supporting documents etc).Review of new regulations and implementation for EPB.Ensure regulatory licenses renewal and requirements are met including accreditation of professional staff and raise issues/provide feedback on draft regulationsLeading Client Investment Suitability Questionnaire product risk rating policies and relevant governance (including development and management) and annual reviews.Development and management of policy framework on Complex and NonComplex product in line with regulatory guidelines.QualificationsAt least 10 to 15 years experience in the field of governance linked to investments asset management and/or investment banking regulatory reportingBachelors degree in Business Finance Economics or an industry (such as Banking) qualificationProfessional qualification such as FRM/CFA/ACA/ACCA over and above Bachelors is a mustIndepth experience of investment product development lifecycle management broader investment management business fund structures and investment processes and regulationsAppreciation of deadlines attention to detail and delivery drivenTeam player with a positive disposition who works extremely well with colleagues engagement of peers and superiors as well as clients as appropriateProblem solving attitudeAbility to operate independently manage and deliver resultsPossess excellent communication skills (verbal and written)Remote WorkNoEmployment TypeFulltime#J-18808-Ljbffr
