<div><p>On schedule to open in the United Arab Emirates in Spring 2027, Wynn Al Marjan Island has been created as an opulent and entertaining beachside destination for discerning guests to play and relax. Located less than 50 minutes from Dubai International Airport, this integrated resort offering 1,530 rooms and suites, 22 restaurants and lounges, a theatre, nightclub, and five-star spa is currently under construction on a picturesque island that gracefully curves into the Arabian Gulf.</p><h3>About the Position:</h3><p>Wynn Al Marjan Island is currently seeking an Director of Travel Industry Sales - GCC to join the resort’s Hotel Sales team.</p><p>The primary duties and responsibilities of this role are:</p><ul><li>Strategic Planning and Execution: Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve budgeted room nights, ADR and revenue targets from the leisure segment. This includes planning sales strategies, tactics, and activities across the segment.</li><li>Contract Negotiation and Process: Negotiate all third‑party partner agreements, ensuring the best terms possible for the resort. This involves working closely with the legal team to protect the resort's interests. Set up and facilitate the annual contracting process and delivery of contracts. Evaluate high‑value opportunities for connectivity with partners.</li><li>Sales and Marketing: Identify sales opportunities and close high‑value sales within the segment's responsibilities. Plan and execute sales and marketing activities, leveraging cost of sale information to maximize effectiveness.</li><li>Team Management: Monitor team performance against strategy and sales tactics. Guide the Travel Industry team in prospecting for new business and ensure they are effectively executing their roles.</li><li>Partner&Departmental Relationships: Maintain close relationships with key partners, including food and beverage, hotel, nightlife, and accounting contacts. Network with industry peers in the GCC region and those visiting from other markets in the Middle East.</li><li>Promotional Activities: Coordinate the creation of promotional rate codes and assist in the analysis and reporting of promotional program performance.</li><li>Goal Setting: Create monthly and annual room night, revenue, and ADR goals by partner. Ensure all systems, policies, and procedures enable effective selling.</li><li>Representation and Networking: Represent the resort at trade shows, road shows, presentations, and sales trips. Actively prospect for attractive new business and create opportunities for growth and development for department employees.</li><li>Rate Strategy: Analyze and implement tactical rate strategies to maximize ADR and resort occupancy. Ensure the resort's offerings are competitively priced and attractive to potential guests.</li><li>Campaign Analysis and Project Management: Oversee the execution of marketing campaigns and projects, ensuring they align with the resort's strategic vision. This includes analyzing the performance of campaigns and making data-driven decisions to optimize future efforts.</li><li>Employee Hiring and Retention: Take responsibility for hiring and retaining top talent within the department. This involves creating opportunities for growth and development for employees, ensuring a motivated and high-performing team.</li><li>Operational Execution: Ensure the smooth operation of all travel industry-related activities. This includes coordinating with various departments to ensure seamless execution of promotional activities, events, and partnerships.</li><li>Brand Awareness and Visibility: Work closely with partners in airlines, luxury travel agencies, destination management companies (DMCs), wholesalers, and online travel agencies (OTAs) to build brand awareness and maximize exposure.</li><li>Sustainability and Corporate Responsibility: Implement and promote sustainability and corporate responsibility initiatives within the resort. This includes working on projects that enhance the resort's environmental and social impact.</li><li>VIP and High-Profile Guest Management: Develop and maintain relationships with VIP and high-profile partners, ensuring their guests’ needs are met and their experiences are exceptional. This includes coordinating special events and personalized services for these guests.</li><li>Royal Families: build and maintain discreet, high‑trust relationships with Royal households and private offices, driving high‑value, bespoke resort business. The role ensures flawless, culturally aligned delivery across the resort while positioning it as a preferred Royal destination through discretion, protocol mastery, and senior‑level engagement.</li><li>Market Research and Consumer Insights: Conduct market research and gather consumer insights to stay ahead of industry trends and understand the preferences of the resort's target audience. This information can be used to tailor marketing strategies and improve guest experience.</li></ul><h3>About
