Director of Spa

Position SummaryThe Spa Director oversees the daily operations of the spa, wellness and recreation facilities ensuring the highest standards of service, cleanliness, safety and guest satisfaction. This role is responsible for team leadership, business strategy, financial performance and compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations.Key ResponsibilitiesLead and manage all spa and wellness operations ensuring efficiency, profitability and guest satisfaction.Develop and implement strategic plans, packages and promotions to drive revenue and market positioning.Recruit, train and develop a high‑performing spa team aligned with company values and service standards.Monitor and maintain facility cleanliness, safety and equipment standards.Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless guest experiences.Oversee spa memberships and guest access policies.Ensure adherence to ISO standards, local legislation and internal SOPs.Manage departmental budgets, forecasting and cost control.Handle guest feedback professionally and implement service improvements.QualificationsDiploma or degree in beauty, wellness or related field.8–10 years of experience in luxury hotel spas or independent spa management.Strong leadership, communication and business acumen.Knowledge of ISO 22000 standards is a plus.Core CompetenciesIntegrity, transparency and professionalism.Team‑oriented and guest‑focused mindset.Commitment to excellence and continuous improvement.Strong operational and financial management skills.Your Team and Working EnvironmentRixos Premium Saadiyat Island is a unique resort; where exclusivity and luxury define every experience, every time.
