Director of Datacenter Growth and Operations - Facilities ManagementDigital Infrastructure & Data CentersLocation: Riyadh, Saudi ArabiaRole OverviewWe are seeking a highly driven and visionary Director of Datacenter Growth and Operations to lead and scale a rapidly expanding Data Center and Digital Infrastructure platform in Saudi Arabia. This is a senior leadership role for an individual who wants to shape strategy, build high‑performing teams, and drive the operational and commercial success of mission‑critical facilities across one of the worlds fastest‑growing digital infrastructure markets. You will take full ownership of growth, operational excellence, client relationships, and financial performance—positioning the business as a market leader supporting hyperscalers, colocation providers, and enterprise data center operators across the Kingdom.What You’ll Be Responsible ForStrategic Growth & Market LeadershipDefine and execute a clear growth strategy for data centers and digital infrastructure services across Saudi Arabia.Identify and capitalize on new market opportunities, including hyperscale, colocation, cloud, and critical digital infrastructure projects.Lead high‑value tenders, proposals, and strategic pitches, shaping commercial models that win long‑term partnerships.Build trusted relationships with C‑suite clients, technology partners, and key government stakeholders.Act as a visible industry leader by representing the business at regional and international data center forums and events.Stay ahead of emerging technologies, regulatory developments, and industry standards, translating insight into competitive advantage.Operational ExcellenceProvide executive oversight of day‑to‑day operations across multiple mission‑critical environments.Set and maintain world‑class operational standards aligned with industry best practice (Uptime Institute, ISO, BICSI, etc.).Ensure resilient operation of critical systems including power, cooling, UPS, security, and life‑safety systems.Lead business continuity, risk management, and disaster recovery planning for high‑availability environments.Own full P&L responsibility, including budgeting, forecasting, cost optimization, and profitability.Drive continuous improvement through performance metrics, audits, and innovation.Leadership & Team BuildingBuild, inspire, and retain a high‑performing multidisciplinary team of engineers, technicians, and operational leaders.Create a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous learning.Develop future leaders through coaching, structured development plans, and succession planning.Ensure teams are equipped with the right tools, training, and resources to operate at the highest standards.Client Partnership & Service ExcellenceServe as the senior relationship owner for key accounts.Proactively manage performance, expectations, and service delivery in mission‑critical environments.Lead executive‑level client reviews, presenting insights, performance outcomes, and improvement initiatives.Resolve high‑level escalations with confidence and professionalism.What We’re Looking ForExperience & QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical discipline (Masters degree preferred).10+ years experience in facilities management or critical infrastructure environments.5+ years direct experience in data centers and/or digital infrastructure operations.Proven track record leading large, technically complex teams and operations at scale.Technical ExpertiseStrong knowledge of:Data center power and cooling systemsUPS, generators, and electrical distributionFire detection and suppressionPhysical security and monitoring systemsWorking experience with Uptime Institute Tier Standards, ISO frameworks, BMS, and CMMS platforms.Commercially astute with strong financial and contractual understanding.Leadership AttributesStrategic thinker with a hands‑on leadership styleConfident communicator at executive and client levelResults‑driven, resilient, and solutions‑focusedComfortable operating in fast‑paced, high‑availability environmentsWhy This Role?Lead one of the most critical and fastest‑growing sectors in the regionShape digital infrastructure that supports Vision 2030 and national transformationGenuine autonomy and influence at senior leadership levelOpportunity to build and scale something significant—with real market impactInternational Candidates & RelocationApplications are welcomed from both Saudi and non‑Saudi nationals.
