Job Description

Job PurposeResponsible for the strategic management and expansion of account portfolios within the Education sector, ensuring the introduction and cultivation of robust client relationships. This role encompasses the enhancement of service quality standards, the effective management of day-to-day client operations, and the achievement of established objectives and revenue targets. Maintaining exemplary client satisfaction and portfolio credit quality is paramount.Key AccountabilitiesClient and Market Analysis: Participate in the financial analysis conducted on clients and their respective industries/markets to identify potential opportunities and risks.Client Relationship Management: Identify and secure new business with target clients within the Education segment across banking products.Transaction Documentation: Prepare term sheets, information memoranda, and mandate letters.Risk Assessment: Assess and address credit, market, and operational risks in collaboration with product and enablement teams.Transaction Execution: Present, review, negotiate, and finalise transactions.Credit Quality Management: Maintain client credit quality within portfolio in line with bank standards.Financial Target Delivery: Deliver individual and team financial targets.Cross‑Selling: Identify and maximise cross‑selling opportunities with key clients.Account Planning: Ensure account plans are created and maintained for key clients.Documentation & Compliance: Maintain client files and documentation; submit credit reviews promptly and ensure compliance with agreed conditions.Audit Outcomes: Maintain satisfactory audit outcomes for the portfolio.Training & Development: Participate in relevant training and development programmes.Process Compliance: Ensure all internal portfolio and NTB processes comply with bank policies and procedures; comply with process KPIs, ORM, BCP, and internal audit requirements.Daily Operations: Support the daily administration and transactions, including client communications, documentation, account openings, and pipeline updates, to ensure work continuity and high‑quality delivery; ensure KYC and compliance processes are followed in accordance with bank and regulatory requirements.Policy Adherence: Adhere to all relevant policies, procedures, and operating standards to ensure controlled and consistent work practices.Mandatory Training: Completion of mandatory trainings on an ongoing basis to be up to date with the bank’s processes and policies.Reporting: Assist in preparing timely and accurate reports to meet unit requirements, policies, and standards.Qualifications & ExperienceMinimum Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in finance, Business Management, Engineering or related discipline. Master’s degree in business administration or finance is preferred.Minimum Experience: 8-10 years of experience in corporate banking (coverage/investment banking).Knowledge, Skills, and AttributesKnowledge of the banking sector, wholesale banking products, and business strategies.Experience dealing with clients in the Education sector.Ability to work under pressure and adjust quickly to changing priorities.Computer proficiency and familiarity with banking software systems.Data analysis and financial modelling skills.Credit analysis and FOREX skills.Effective communication skills.About the CompanyFirst Abu Dhabi Bank (FAB)#J-18808-Ljbffr
