Qiddiya Investment Company is searching for a highly skilled Director - Commercial specializing in Vertical Links to lead our commercial initiatives for transport infrastructure projects. In this influential role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing commercial strategies that enhance operational efficiency and drive revenue growth within our ambitious entertainment and cultural destination.Your expertise will be pivotal in overseeing all commercial activities related to vertical links, including procurement, contract management, and stakeholder engagement. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, ensuring alignment between commercial objectives and project execution. If you are looking for a challenging position that allows you to make a significant impact, we would love to hear from you.ResponsibilitiesDevelop and execute commercial strategies for vertical links infrastructure projects to meet revenue and profitability targets.Lead, mentor, and manage the commercial team, promoting a culture of high performance and accountability.Identify and establish strategic partnerships with stakeholders, contractors, and suppliers.Oversee the procurement process, including the development of tender documentation, bid evaluations, and contract negotiations.Administer contracts ensuring compliance with legal and project requirements, managing claims, variations, and change orders effectively.Monitor project budgets, financial performance, and cost control measures while preparing reports and forecasts.Collaborate with project teams during design and construction phases to ensure cost-effective approaches and risk management.Provide commercial input for strategic plans and contribute to decision-making processes at the executive level.Ensure adherence to company policies, operational guidelines, and best practices in commercial management.QualificationsBachelor's degree in Business, Commercial Management, Quantity Surveying, or a related field; an advanced degree or relevant certifications is preferred.A minimum of 10-15 years of experience in commercial management, particularly within the transport or infrastructure sectors.Proven track record of successfully leading commercial initiatives on large-scale projects.Strong understanding of procurement processes, contract management, and negotiation strategies.Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and strategies.Exceptional leadership qualities, with the ability to inspire and guide diverse teams.Strong communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.Knowledge of standard contract forms (e.g., FIDIC) and relevant legislation.Experience in the Middle East / KSA market is highly desirable.A results-driven mindset, with the ability to adapt in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.BenefitsComprehensive benefits package#J-18808-Ljbffr
