Our 99,600 employees operate a network of 2,600 offices and laboratories, working together to enable a better, safer and more interconnected world.The Operations Supervisor – OGC is responsible for controlling and driving the execution performance of assigned marine and terminal jobs from order receipt through final reporting. The role ensures disciplined execution, compliance with operational procedures, and alignment with turnaround time, quality, and margin objectives.This is a specialized operational control role within petroleum-related environments, requiring proven experience in coordinating field teams, managing execution performance, and maintaining service standards in time-sensitive marine and terminal operations.Order & Execution OwnershipReceive and review job orders, ensuring scope compliance and operational clarity.Plan and schedule inspectors based on capability matrix and workload.Issue clear operational instructions to field and laboratory teams.Monitor job progress and ensure timely completion.Ensure report issuance within agreed turnaround time (TAT).Delivery Performance & KPI ControlEnsure on-time job attendance and execution start.Maintain report issuance within SLA.Minimize rework and report correction rates.Maintain inspector utilization within defined targets.Control overtime and operational inefficiencies.Ensure compliance with HSE and OI procedures.Align manpower allocation with job scope.Minimize unnecessary overtime.Ensure correct job coding for accurate invoicing.Support margin protection through execution efficiency.Quality & Compliance OversightEnsure strict adherence to international standards and client procedures.Record operational errors and initiate corrective actions (CAR).Identify competency gaps and support inspector training.Maintain accurate documentation and job records.Act as primary operational contact for clients during execution.Escalate operational risks or deviations promptly.Coordinate with Administration to ensure accurate and timely invoicing.QualificationsBachelor’s Degree in Chemistry, Engineering, Marine Studies, or related discipline.6-8 years of experience in marine petroleum operations, cargo inspection, bunker operations, terminal operations, or oil trading logistics.Demonstrated experience supervising field teams or coordinating multiple concurrent jobs.Strong understanding of petroleum cargo operations, documentation, and custody transfer processes.Experience working with KPIs, turnaround times, and operational performance targets.#J-18808-Ljbffr
