Director - Alliances and Partners

What You’ll DoAs Director, Partners & Alliances, you will own Teradata’s partner go‑to‑market strategy across Saudi Arabia, Turkey & South Africa. This role uniquely blends strategic alliance ownership with field‑level execution, driving partner‑sourced demand, accelerating deals, and ensuring strong governance across regions and cloud ecosystems.You will define and execute regional partner strategies, build repeatable operating rhythms, strengthen our joint value proposition, and enable sellers to maximize co‑sell and funding opportunities. Success in this role directly impacts revenue acceleration, partner influence, cloud engagement, and overall ecosystem health.Who You’ll Work WithYou will partner closely with regional sales leadership, solution engineering, marketing, global alliances, and ecosystem teams. You will collaborate deeply with field and executive teams across Saudi Arabia, Turkey & South Africa to build joint plans, run governance, and unlock strategic workloads.This position reports to the VP, Partners & Alliances, EMEA.What Makes You a Qualified Candidate (Non‑negotiable)10+ years of experience in alliances, partner sales, or cloud ecosystem leadership.Demonstrated success working with hyperscalers.Strong field execution experience across MEA region.Exceptional communication, influence, and executive engagement skills.Language capabilities aligned to the region desirable.What You’ll Bring (Preferred qualifications)Proven ability to build and scale partner operating rhythms and governance.Strong understanding of cloud go‑to‑market models, co‑sell frameworks, and funding programs.Experience activating sector‑specific plays and solution accelerators.Ability to map partner capacity to account opportunities and drive aligned demand creation.Skilled at enabling sales teams and accelerating complex opportunities through influence.Ability to develop compelling value propositions aligned to priority cloud workloads.Data‑driven approach to pipeline management, tracking, and reporting.Why You’ll Love TeradataWe prioritize a people‑first culture because we know our people are at the heart of our success.
