Digital Lead BIM Specialist

The ideal candidate will serve as a fully capable professional in an Engineering team The Digital Lead creates the digital strategy for optimizing creating developing and finalizing production work on projects with regular interaction with a Senior Engineer or designated senior team member.Act as a BIM Lead Verifier to lead plan and develop the digital strategy to optimize project BIM Model and deliverables production.Authors and ensures compliance with BIM plan and BIM standards project specifications and established practices.Contributes to AECOM global and regional digital and innovation initiatives.Leads BIM Model and Drawing coordination within MEP and across Disciplines.Guiding and management of junior staff.Identifies incremental improvements to existing procedures or processes that increase efficiency or work quality.Performs a selfcheck of work products prior to submitting to others.Performs technical quality reviews including documentation in project record in accordance with policies and procedures.Participates in client meetings to discuss project requirements etc.May manage more junior staff members coordinating activities of a small team.Maintaining liaison with design groups.Under some supervision may complete assignments to high complexity.Familiarity with codes permits and software applications.QualificationsMinimum 10 years postundergraduate experience. / BEng in Electrical / Mechanical / Building Services EngineeringPostgraduate qualification in a digitalrelated field preferredAdditional InformationAbout AECOMAECOM is the worlds trusted infrastructure consulting firm delivering professional services throughout the project lifecycle from advisory planning design and engineering to program and construction management.
