Dietitian

Performs a variety of specialized duties related to the receipt, interpretation and implementation of patient diet orders. Responsible for the medical nutrition therapy of patient/residents; nutritional assessment, nutrition care plans, patient visitation, inpatient/outpatient diet counseling, consults regarding advance nutrition support, as well as assist in other areas related to the Nutrition Services Department.ResponsibilitiesAssess nutritional needs, diet restrictions and current health plans to develop and implement dietary-care plans and provides nutritional counselingConsults with physicians and health care personnel to determine nutritional needs and diet restrictions of patient or clientAdvises patient and their families on nutritional principles, dietary plans and diet modifications, and food selection and preparationCounsels individuals and groups on basic rules of good nutrition, healthy eating habits, and nutrition monitoring to improve their quality of lifeInspects meals served for conformance to prescribed diets and standards of palatability and appearanceProvides substitutions if patient is unable to eat the meal provided, in accordance with diet restrictionsEvaluates appropriateness of diet order for diagnosis and recommends diet order changes as indicatedSelect, train and supervise workers who plan, prepare and serve mealsDevelops nutrition care plans and monitors patient response to care plan developedChart pertinent information from the nutritional care plan and from interventionsCollaborates with physician and nursing to deliver quality nutrition careActs as a Dietetic advisor to nursing, medical, allied health and catering staff in assigned areasMaintains accurate statistical records and reports as required by the department and the facilityQualificationsBachelor of Science Degree in Nutrition/Dietetics or equivalent to the sameJob InfoJob Identification 10398Job Category AdministrationPosting Date 02/11/2026, 12:33 PMApply Before 03/10/2026, 12:33 PMJob Schedule Full timeLocations NMC CosmeSurge Clinics - Marina, Dubai, AE#J-18808-Ljbffr
