Designer II - UX Design (Visual Designer)

Job Description As a Visual Designer at our company, you play a crucial role in ensuring aesthetics and visual excellence in every project you are involved in. You are not just a visual storyteller but also a creative individual with a keen eye for detail, a passion for color palettes, typography, and illustrations, and a solid understanding of visual principles. Your ability to visualize experiences and translate them into innovative designs sets you apart. **Responsibilities:** - Demonstrate a strong understanding of the design process and its practical application - Collaborate with internal teams and clients to define user interface requirements - Develop original visual creatives driven by strategic inputs for various platforms and devices - Create visual components, icons, and digital styles - Generate inspired ideas and see them through to completion with meticulous attention to detail - Establish style guides and scalable components as part of a larger design system - Present design concepts with detailed micro-interactions to internal teams and client leadership - Work closely with client teams, including Product Owners, Delivery Managers, and Product Designers - Ensure designs and assets are ready for handoff by delivering and QA testing - Collaborate with the engineering team to maintain the integrity of original designs and meet usability standards - Align output with existing brand guidelines and patterns - Stay updated on the latest design practices, tools, and techniques - Meet deadlines effectively while working on team projects **Requirements:** - Bachelor's or Master's degree in a related design discipline or equivalent work experience - 1-3 years of industry experience - Online portfolio showcasing recent projects (school/live) - willing to share password or showcase work during the interview - Proficiency in the latest user interface design and prototyping tools - Ability to create new visual design concepts - Familiarity with WCAG guidelines and implementation methods - Understanding of the end-to-end design process - Experience in creating style guides and design systems - Knowledge of AI technologies and their application in visual design is a plus - Ability to create original artworks, illustrations, and icons is a plus **About UST:** UST is a global digital transformation solutions provider that has been partnering with leading companies for over 20 years to drive impactful transformation.
