Design Manager

Job OverviewRenowned Architectural Firm, based in Lebanon, UAE and in the US. The job role of a design manager involves the following duties: Motivating and encouraging internal and external design teams. Ensuring structural drawings and designs are produced on time, to a high quality, and are easy to decipher. Overseeing the design process using technical expertise.ResponsibilitiesAttending, hosting or coordinating department meetingsEnsuring that the design work is of sufficient quality and that all directives are being followedCollaborating with your own team and with other departments to achieve design goalsWorking to meet the expectations of the customer or clientExcellent coordination and communication skills with high profile clients ensuring efficient outputManaging and delegating tasks where necessary and reviewing that work when it has been completedA deep technical knowledge of the complete design process from brainstorming to end productA creative drive and a keen eye for innovative ideas and trendsEffective supervisory and organizational skillsThe ability to be a leader but to also know how to motivate team membersThe patience and determination to resolve issues in a timely mannerFlexibility and dependability to work in multifaceted working environmentsThe ability to produce quality projects consistentlyExcellent communication skills - both written and oralInnovative ideas and designs and putting them into a context that the rest of the team and the client/customer can understandQualificationsMaster's Degree in architecture or equivalent.Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit is a critical requirement.Proficiency in Lumion, 3DS Max or Rhino is highly preferred.Proficiency in Adobe suite and Microsoft Office.Around 10 years of experience in relevant architectural design, working on large scale projects in GCC region.Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide a creative team.Excellent communication skills, both verbal and visual, with a keen eye for detail.A portfolio showcasing a diverse range of projects, highlighting your designs.International experience is highly preferred (professional or education).If you are interested please share your CV & Portfolio#J-18808-Ljbffr
