Design Engineer

Location: Ras Al Khaimah, United Arab Emirates Qualifications: • 3-5 years of working experience is required.• Experience creating parts, assemblies, and drawings using CAD.• Experience in SolidWorks and AutoCAD.• A bachelor’s degree in a related field of engineering is preferred, but a reasonable level of working experience without a degree can be considered.• Training certificates for CAD systems the candidate has used should be available.• Experience with the AutoCAD CAD system can also be considered.• Experience dealing with suppliers is considered a plus.• Experience using all MS Office software.• The candidate should possess a strong desire to provide rapid, correct, and high-quality CAD engineering solutions as required. Responsibilities: • Design, develop, and modify armoured vehicle parts and components using the MEVA-designated CAD system.• Create proposals and bills of materials as per client requirements.• Create CAD drawings for armoured vehicle parts, part assemblies, jigs & fixtures, exploded views, assembly sequences, and required fabricated production equipment using the MEVA-designated CAD system.• Provide design engineering solutions for armoured vehicle-related issues by interfacing with production floor personnel and management, gathering consensus for issue resolution, and implementing solutions.• Maintain an up-to-date CAD database in which all currently approved design solutions are represented within the data released to suppliers for processing.• Utilize CAD software (such as SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or similar tools) to develop 3D models.• Generate detailed engineering drawings, including assembly, exploded views, and part specifications.• Maintain detailed design specifications, including geometric dimensions, material properties, and assembly instructions.• Assist manufacturing teams during the production phase, addressing design-related queries, improvements, and any necessary design changes.#J-18808-Ljbffr
