This role focuses on producing precise joinery shop drawings that translate design concepts into manufacturable, on-site-ready work. You will work closely with designers, project managers and the joinery workshop to ensure drawings meet design intent, production requirements and site constraints.Key responsibilitiesProduce detailed 2D shop drawings and assembly details for joinery items including cabinetry, built-ins, reception desks, fitted furniture and architectural millwork.Dimension drawings fully and specify materials, finishes, edge treatments, joints, hardware and tolerances.Prepare cutting lists, BOMs, panel layouts and CNC-ready files where required.Liaise with production/shop foremen to ensure drawings are accurate and practical for manufacture.Coordinate with site supervisors and designers during installation for on-site adjustments.Maintain drawing standards, templates and best practices.Review design drawings and highlight potential issues or clashes.Deliver drawings to meet project schedules and quality standards.Requirements and skillsDiploma/Certificate in Interior Design, Architecture, Carpentry or related technical discipline preferred.Minimum 2 years’ experience in joinery shop drawing production (interior fit-outs).Excellent proficiency in AutoCAD (2D); experience with AutoCAD Architecture, Revit or SketchUp advantageous.Familiarity with CNC/CAM processes, panel optimization and shop workflow is a plus.Strong knowledge of materials (timber, MDF, laminates, veneers), adhesives, finishes and hardware fittings.Ability to read architectural plans and coordinate with MEP/structural drawings.Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.Good communication skills and teamwork attitude.Portfolio of past shop drawings required.What we offerOpportunity to work on varied commercial/residential projectsFriendly, collaborative work environmentHow to applyEmail your CV, portfolio and a sample joinery/shop drawing to bachar@regal-upkeep.com with subject line "Draftsman — Joinery Shop Drawings".
