Job Description As an experienced line manager, your role will primarily focus on supporting the growth of the delivery organization in India. Your responsibilities will include people management, recruitment, delivery tracking, and developing relationships with clients. It is essential for you to possess strong people skills and client engagement abilities. Your mature ability to translate business goals into actionable plans and execute them independently, while proactively managing risks and obstacles, will be a key factor for success in this role. It is worth noting that there are no direct technical or delivery projects involved in this position.
Your key responsibilities will be as follows:
- Driving delivery, quality, and productivity in global delivery teams for a global Swiss bank in India, actively supporting new business growth
- Identifying customer needs and overseeing service delivery within the business context
- Initiating the recruitment process and driving it forward, including hiring pipeline tracking and regular reporting, with a strong emphasis on client satisfaction and managing client expectations
- Liaising with project teams of up to 50 people and internal/external stakeholders, with the potential for further growth
- Providing leadership with overall responsibility for team motivation, assisting in resource planning, procedures, coaching, and team/project performance
- Offering daily operational support to the team, addressing staff queries, feedback, and assistance, and implementing actions to achieve business/personal goals
- Ensuring the sharing of best practices/business domain knowledge and exploiting synergies between teams, while focusing on whole team Risk Management (staff, project) and attrition control
- Working closely with the Luxoft Customer Success Manager to achieve the project's business goals
- Monitoring and measuring the mood of team members and ensuring effective support
Qualifications required for this role include:
- Previous experience working as a Project Manager, Resource Manager, or in a similar role related to staff and client management (5+ years)
- Proven experience in sustaining team sizes of 50+ FTE, preferably in an outsourcing or offshore setup
- Ability to efficiently and effectively communicate with team members, customer representatives, and senior management
- Pro-activeness, responsiveness, communicative skills, willingness to learn and grow professionally, and strong soft skills
- Delivering innovative solutions for team morale and the ability to speak to large audiences to explain formulated solutions
- Understanding of SDLC
- Hands-on experience in Vendor/Client management
Nice-to-have skills for this role include:
- Experience working in finance, banking, or telecom sectors
- AI literacy, prompt engineering, and a habit of using corporate AI tools (e.g., Copilots) while maintaining Ethical AI guardrails
