Job Description

The Delivery Manager is responsible for the end-to-end delivery of microwave and millimeter-wave link deployments, ensuring projects are executed on time, within scope, and to telecom‑grade quality standards. This role sits at the intersection of engineering, operations, and customer delivery, working closely with internal teams, subcontractors, and telecom partners (e.g., Zain, Salam, STC) to ensure seamless rollout and operational readiness.Key ResponsibilitiesProject Delivery & ExecutionLead end-to-end deployment of MW and mmWave links across multiple projectsOwn delivery timelines, milestones, and resource planningEnsure on-time, on-budget execution of all assigned deploymentsManage site readiness, installation, alignment, commissioning, and handoverField Operations ManagementSupervise field teams and subcontractors performing installationsEnsure adherence to installation SOPs, safety standards, and quality benchmarksValidate proper grounding, surge protection (LPUs), and environmental complianceResolve on-site technical challenges during deploymentTechnical OversightEnsure MW link performance meets design KPIs (throughput, latency, availability)Oversee link budget validation, LOS verification, and alignment accuracySupport troubleshooting of issues such as:Throughput degradationInterference / alignment issuesPower / PoE instabilityCoordinate with RF and product teams for escalationsStakeholder & Customer ManagementAct as the primary delivery interface with telecom operators and enterprise customersCoordinate with partners (Zain, Salam, STC, etc.) on:Site accessOAM onboardingAcceptance testingProvide regular updates on project progress, risks, and mitigation plansQuality Assurance & AcceptanceEnsure deployments meet telecom‑grade acceptance criteriaDrive site acceptance testing (SAT) and commissioning reportsMaintain documentation including:As-built drawingsLink reportsAcceptance certificatesPlanning & ScalingContribute to scaling deployment operations for large-volume rollouts (100s-1000s of links)Improve processes, tools, and workflows for faster and more reliable deliveryWork with planning teams on network design inputs and rollout strategyTools & SystemsUtilize and support systems such as:NMSTicketing systems (e.g., Remedy)Project tracking toolsEnsure proper reporting of KPIs, alarms, and field issuesRequirementsBachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications, or related field5-10+ years of experience in:Microwave (MW) or wireless network deploymentsTelecom infrastructure projectsProven experience managing field deployments and subcontractorsTechnical SkillsStrong knowledge of:Microwave and mmWave systems (6-80 GHz, especially 60 GHz is a plus)Link budgeting and RF fundamentalsInstallation best practices (alignment, grounding, surge protection)Familiarity with:IP networking basics (Layer 2/3, VLANs, QoS)OAM and telecom integration processesFiber vs wireless backhaul architecturesSoft SkillsStrong leadership and team management skillsExcellent problem-solving and decision-making under pressureClear communication with both technical and non-technical stakeholdersAbility to operate in fast-paced startup and telco environmentsPreferred QualificationsExperience working with telecom operators in Saudi ArabiaPMP or equivalent project management certificationExperience in large-scale rollout programsKPIs / Success MetricsOn-time project delivery rateLink performance vs design targetsNumber of successful site acceptancesDeployment cycle time per linkCustomer satisfaction / operator feedbackBenefitsPrivate Health InsuranceTraining & DevelopmentPerformance BonusCompatitive salaries#J-18808-Ljbffr
