This strategic role will require an inspirational leader with a track record in delivering large-scale sports facilities to ensure the successful execution of this iconic venue, which will serve as a centerpiece for national athletics.ResponsibilitiesOversee the construction and end-to-end delivery phases of the Stadium, ensuring the project adheres to its vision and performance standardsCollaborate closely with architects, engineers, and project teams to develop effective strategies for project delivery that meet budget, quality, and timeline parametersEngage with stakeholders, including government entities, sports organizations, and community representatives, to align project objectives with national interestsImplement and enforce rigorous project governance, risk management practices, and quality control procedures throughout the delivery lifecycleMonitor project progress through regular site assessments and reporting to ensure timely delivery and compliance with regulatory standardsFacilitate strong collaboration among contractors and suppliers to foster a successful project environmentProvide strategic guidance and updates to senior management regarding project status, potential challenges, and opportunities for improvementPromote sustainable practices and innovations that contribute to the functionality and environmental stewardship of the stadiumRequirementsBachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Project Management, or a related fieldMinimum of 12 years of experience in project delivery, particularly within the sports infrastructure sectorMust have proven experience in successfully delivering a major stadium or arena project and po large-scale projects, with a solid understanding of construction, design, and engineering processesStrong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage cross-functional teamsDeep understanding of project management methodologies and best practicesExcellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills with diverse stakeholdersProficient in project management software and tools, with strong analytical capabilities#J-18808-Ljbffr
