<div><p>Gulf Medical University is seeking an accomplished, visionary, and dynamic academic leader to serve as the Dean of the College of Dentistry.</p><h3><b>KEY RESPONSIBILITIES</b></h3><ul><li>Provide strategic leadership and academic direction to all departments and programs within the College of Dentistry</li><li>Lead the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of undergraduate and postgraduate dental programs</li><li>Ensure excellence in teaching, research, and clinical dental training aligned with accreditation standards (CAA, international dental bodies)</li><li>Oversee dental clinical facilities, patient care services, and student clinical competencies</li><li>Foster interdisciplinary collaboration with healthcare institutions and research centers</li><li>Attract, retain, and develop high-quality faculty and clinical staff</li><li>Ensure compliance with academic standards, ethical practices, and institutional policies</li><li>Drive innovation in dental education, simulation, and digital dentistry technologies</li><li>Lead accreditation, quality assurance, and institutional benchmarking initiatives</li></ul><h3><b>QUALIFICATION&EXPERIENCE</b></h3><ul><li>Dental degree (BDS/DDS) with PhD or equivalent terminal qualification</li><li>Minimum 10–15 years of academic and clinical experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership role as an Associate Dean/Dean</li><li>Proven track record in academic leadership, curriculum development, and clinical program management</li><li>Experience with national and international accreditation processes</li><li>Strong understanding of modern dental education and clinical training standards</li></ul><h3><b>SKILLS&COMPETENCIES</b></h3><ul><li>Strategic leadership and institutional planning</li><li>Academic and clinical governance</li><li>Strong communication and stakeholder engagement</li><li>Change management and innovation</li><li>Research and publication track record</li><li>Familiarity with digital dentistry and simulation-based education</li></ul></div>#J-18808-Ljbffr
