Data Researcher / Research Analyst – Automotive R&D (Junior Level)

Black Pearl is seeking a Data Researcher / Research Analyst Automotive R&D to support product development innovation and technology strategy. This position is ideal for individuals passionate about automotive technologies and data-driven research.Key ResponsibilitiesMarket & Industry ResearchConduct research on global and regional automotive markets and technologies.Analyze consumer trends, sustainability shifts, regulatory updates and EV/ADAS developments.Benchmark competitor products, pricing and innovation pipelines.Product Development & R&D SupportProvide insights to guide product concept creation and engineering decisions.Collaborate with engineering teams to assess feasibility and emerging technologies.Support R&D roadmaps by identifying materials, powertrains and digital solutions.Assist in prototype evaluations and user feedback analysis.Data Analysis & ReportingAnalyze datasets to identify patterns and business opportunities.Build dashboards and maintain research databases.Prepare reports and presentations for leadership and cross-functional teams.Cross-Functional CollaborationWork with Engineering, Product, Marketing, Supply Chain and Quality teams.Participate in ideation and design sessions with evidence-based recommendations.Operational ExcellenceMaintain organized documentation of research and benchmarking studies.Stay updated on automotive technologies, standards and industry regulations.Support the R&D Manager in day-to-day tasks and strategic projects.Ensure compliance with ISO 9001:2015 standards.RequirementsBachelor's degree in Mechanical, Automotive, Electrical/Electronic, Industrial Engineering or related fields.13 years of experience in research, R&D, market intelligence or product development (automotive preferred).Strong analytical and research skills.Proficiency in Excel, Power BI, Tableau or similar tools.Understanding of automotive systems (EV, ADAS, materials, electronics).Excellent communication, documentation and presentation skills.Certifications in analytics or research are an advantage.#J-18808-Ljbffr
