DATA PROTECTION SME - PDPL

<div><h3>Role Summary</h3><p>The PDPL Technical SME will provide expert-level guidance on the implementation of technical and operational requirements for PDPL, NDMO, and SAMA compliance.</p><p>The role focuses on data discovery, mapping, classification, and supporting the development of detailed ROPAs and privacy tooling.</p><h3>Key Responsibilities</h3><ul><li>Serve as a technical subject matter expert on PDPL, NDMO, and SAMA requirements.</li><li>Develop and validate Records of Processing Activities (ROPAs) with technical accuracy.</li><li>Lead the implementation and configuration of data protection technologies and platforms.</li><li>Provide guidance on data governance, classification, retention, and privacy-by-design.</li><li>Support integration of privacy tools such as BigID and OneTrust.</li><li>Conduct data flow mapping, system analysis, and architecture reviews for compliance alignment.</li><li>Collaborate with cybersecurity, IT, and data teams to ensure technical controls meet regulatory expectations.</li><li>Assist in remediation planning and operational execution related to privacy risks.</li></ul><h3>Required Qualifications and Experience</h3><ul><li>5-10+ years of technical experience in data protection, privacy engineering, or information governance.</li><li>Strong expertise in banking environments is essential.</li><li>In-depth understanding of NDMO, PDPL, and related regulatory frameworks. Hands‑on experience with data protection tools such as BigID and OneTrust.</li><li>Experience creating and maintaining technical ROPAs and data inventories.
