We provide a versatile AI Platform powering financial inclusion, delivering responsible financing decision‑making and driving a superior business model & strong customer experience with presence in 39 Countries anchored by 7 Regional Offices.The Data Intelligence Lead will be responsible for leading the regional analytics function, with a strong emphasis on commercial impact. The role requires expertise in data analysis, market evaluation, and opportunity identification, as well as the ability to initiate and implement new data strategies. The successful candidate will be a fast adopter and initiator, capable of building and managing regional data lakes to enhance business intelligence.What You Will DoAnalyze regional business data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for commercial improvementConduct market analysis to assess regional performance and competitive positioningCollaborate with telecom and banking teams to support loan product strategies and optimize business outcomesDevelop and maintain dashboards and reports to monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for the regionProactively identify, collect, and integrate new data sets to strengthen analytics capabilities and business intelligencePresent actionable insights and strategic recommendations to senior management for decision‑makingEnsure data quality, integrity, and security across all analytics processesStay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in fintech analyticsDemonstrate a fast‑adopting, initiative‑driven approach to new tools, methodologies, and business challengesAnalyze and synthesize internal performance data (customer behavior, product usage, revenue, repayment, churn, campaigns) together with external partner data from Mobile Network Operators (MNOs) and other ecosystem partners to identify trends, gaps and opportunities for revenue growthGenerate actionable business insights and recommendations across key areas, including: Customer communication and campaign strategy, Product and feature enhancements, User experience improvements, Pricing and fee structure optimization, Customer journey and lifecycle managementWork closely with Commercial, Marketing and Product teams to understand customer pain‑points, market feedback and business questions, and translate them into clear analytical problem statements and business requirements for the BI and Data teamsWork closely with BI teams to extend and optimize complex analyses through data exploration and innovative analytical approaches, ensuring insights translate into higher business valueDefine and own business requirements for dashboards, reports, and analytical models, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives and operational prioritiesInterpret complex analytical outputs and communicate findings in a clear, structured, and decision‑oriented manner to senior stakeholders, highlighting business impact and recommended next stepsContinuously monitor performance indicators and partner data feeds to detect early signals of customer behavior shifts, operational bottlenecks, underperforming segmentWhat You Will BringBachelor's or Master's degree in Business Analytics, Data Science, Computer Science, Engineering, Statistics, Economics, or a related fieldProven experience in a commercial analytics role, preferably within fintech, telecom, or banking sectorsStrong analytical and commercial skills with expertise in data mining, statistical analysis, and market researchDemonstrated ability to identify business opportunities and drive commercial growth through data insightsHands‑on experience in designing and managing data lakes and large‑scale data environmentsProficiency in analytics tools (e.g., SQL, Python, R, Tableau, Power BI)Excellent communication and presentation skillsExperience in sourcing and integrating new data sets is highly desirableFast adopter of new technologies and a proactive initiatorStrong leadership and stakeholder management abilitiesWhat we offerCompetitive remuneration packageExtra day off on your birthdayPerformance‑based bonus schemeAll the tech gear you need to work smartOptasia's PerksBe a part of a multicultural working environmentMeet a very unique and promising business and industryGain insights for tomorrow market's foregroundA solid career path within our working family is ready for youContinuous training and access to online training platformsOptasia's Values#1 Drive to Thrive: Fully dedicated to evolving.
